Our Team
Isabel is originally from northeastern Indiana. She gained an interest in eyecare at 12 years old after an eye injury that required many visits with various types of eye doctors.
After she graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry, she moved to rural southern Minnesota and worked as an optometrist in a rural health clinic for 4 years. Her previous experience in a rural community offered great exposure to most everything from urgent eyecare to comprehensive primary eyecare. She has treated patients from 6 months old to 107 years old.
Isabel and David have a son, Quincy, and 2 cats, Eggo and Henry.
She enjoys cooking, podcasts, watching sports (go Colts!) and many tv shows, and working out.
Isabel King, OD
David is originally from southwestern Wisconsin. He always had an interest in the medical field, and was drawn to optometry after exploring many options in undergrad.
After he graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry, he spent his first 4 years of his career in a private practice in rural Minnesota. During that time, he developed an interest in myopia control and hard-to-fit contact lenses. He also developed the confidence to manage nearly all ocular conditions.
Away from the office, David enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, reading, and golfing.
